When this 500-page book landed on our office table, it caused quite a stir. Comments such as ‘What is drug eruption?’ and DRESS syndrome? Everyone who picked it up just could not put it down, so what is this book?

Basically, it is a clinical reference guide to adverse drug reactions (ADRs), drug interactions and other safety information for prescription and over-the-counter medicines. As well as individual agents, it also covers drug classes.
